My Reflection!

It's a new grading period to start our day with a smiling face. Another grading period to stand stand up everytime we fall. It's another grading period to prove to everybody that you are the one of the most outstanding student of this school. Another grading period to accomplish every task they we're about to  give us.
Last grading period,it  was so challenging. Every task they've given was so interesting and catchy one. Especially the computer subject. When we have our hands on, it tests how far we mastered  to use the computer efficiently and effectively. I enjoy the subject especially when the teachers are entertaining. I am enjoying posting my essays on my blog. I could share my opinions. But one day, I discovered that one of my classmate copied my Reflection and that's an insult on my part. My essays we're made by me originally. It was made to be posted not to be copied. PLAGIARISM IS NOT A SIN, IT'S A CRIME! Anyway, that's not the reason why I should be a problematic person. It's just stressful :). I just want to open my hard feelings and it offends me until now!
Making and creating Movie Maker is exciting and enjoyable. It enables us to create movie that could be presented on a big screen and could be watch by everybody. Watching movies made by you is enjoyable because it was made by you originally with all of you're effort. Especially when you take videos with you're groupmates. You create wonderful ideas hand in hand in order to make the movie presentable and catchy to the audience.
Prove to anyone that you are better than the other person you compete with! It's another grading period to accomplish all task! :)

New Year, New Me! =)

Filipinos consider New Year's Eve a time of celebration for the entire family including children of all ages.
We Filipinos celebration for the New Year is quite different compared to other countries. Filipinos literally start the New Year with a bang!! Just a few days before New Year's Eve, you will see lots of sidewalk vendors selling different firecrackers. Filipinos see lighting of firecrackers as the traditional means yo greet and celebrate New Year Eve.
We prepare and cook delicious food for the Media Noche.  It is a busy day for all families. People are rushing in to buy firecrackers in preparation for the night celebration.
Aside from lighting firecrackers and having firework displays, Filipinos have other beliefs and practices. which are associated and believed to bring good luck, fortune and prosperity in New Year.
Part of the fun in getting ready for New Year's Eve is to come up with twelve round fruits, each to signify a month of the year. Filipinos try to dress polka-dots because the roundness signify prosperity.
Family starts to eat thanksgiving feat called Media Noche. It is believed that we should put as much food on the table so that next year you will have food all year round. Children have a good time to blow their plastic toy trumpets called "Torotot". It comes in different sizes, colors, shapes and designs.
Aside from these we have to change our bad attitudes to have a better life fot this Year 2013. I'm gonna stop cramming projects and homeworks :D. I'm gonna spend money wisely so that I could earn. And that's the New Me for the New Year!

True Essence Of Christmas . . .

The Philippines is the only christian country that celebrates Christmas the longest. Beginning September, Christmas preparation already starts. One can hear Christmas Songs and see decorations for sale in the streets the first day of the "ber" months.
This tradition is unique. Sometimes, we are criticized for this. But Filipinos are proud of this tradition. For it shows how much we love Jesus and his coming to save the world from sins.
We celebrate Christmas in many ways. We have Christmas Tree which are decorated with brilliant and colorful decorations. We also have special kinds of lanterns which shows Filipino ingenuity and artistic talents. Because of this, we are proud to be Filipinos.
From the beginning of the midnight mass on December 16, we prepare and give gifts to our loved ones and to our friends. During the peak of the days of the celebration, we go caroling from house to house. We appreciate and are thankful to whatever gifts are given to us.
We cherish those gifts. And we always keep in our hearts whoever and wherever they came from. This is a very Filipino way of expressing our joy for the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
The true spirit of Christmas is felt from the bottom of the heart. This is the time we have to change ourselves to become a better citizen of the society. It's not about  the expensive gifts to be given to others. It's not about the food to be prepare and to be serve. It's not about how beautiful the Christmas decorations to be displayed. But, it's about how we could make everybody happy through the love and the joy we bring. And that's the True Essence of Christmas! :)

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunity

The Philippines is a poor country. Even though Filipino's are highly education and though many technologists, we are poor than our Asian neighbors like Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
We have the right to make our country progressive. We have the right to make our life meaningful so that life would be worth-living. One of the heaviest problem in our country is the lack of opportunity to work. Some Filipino's are alarmed and getting hurry to go and apply in other rich countries to strive for money. This is one of the evidence that our country does not have enough job to offer.
We Filipino's have the freedom to fight for our rights. One of the solution we can apply for this problem is to "Innovate". innovate means to introduce something or to change. Experts say we fail to innovate.
It is true that we have not changed our old ways of doing things. If we are to progress, we should go to the modern world. We should change the old systems of doing things. We have to develop new ways of doing things. If we try this, opportunity may promote.Above all, we should change ourselves, our beliefs and practices.
With the help of these solutions, our country may have enough job to offer for all. Filipino's are proven to be creative, innovative, and responsive to changes.
If we are to improve our lives, we should innovate. This will lead to many jobs and opportunity. Human rights will be felt by the people. Rights of the people will be given to them with the good and enough opportunity!

CLIMATE CHANGE!

Climate change refers to the abrupt change of the earth's atmospheric and geophysical patterns. During summer months, there are rainfalls and typhoons. On rainy days, we experience hot climate. All of these are evidence of climate change.
Because of climate change, we have extraordinary cares of typhoons, floods, EL Nino phenomena and others. All of these occurrences are not conducive to our earthly existence.
There is fear that the end of the world is near. How we should responded to climate change? What should we do to save the earth from total destruction?
Scientists recommending that we stop activities that are causing climate change. What are these human activities?
First, we have deforestation which is the careful cutting down of trees. Trees prevent flooding especially in the low areas. Roots of trees absorbed water so flooding would be prevented in our forests. It will also prevent soil erosion and landslides which are killing people during floods and storms.Because of this, we should plant trees in our forests. This is called "Reforestation".
Second, let us minimize the burning of fossil fuels. The number one of these fuels is oil or gasoline. When oil is burned, carbon monoxide is released to the air which prevents the heat from the sun to go back to the stratosphere. Because of this, we have the El Nino phenomenon which is the absence of rain. This prevents the plant crops for our food.
These are the two of the things we should do to fight climate change. Let us seriously consider all of these in order to prevent the ultimate death of this planet!

It Reflects My Personality Again and Again

As I enter my computer subject, I see my teachers displays a radiant and a patient face through I can determine behind it, they are already tired and exhausted. So, I said it to myself that I should study harder in that subject because I can see in their eyes that they teach us through the day patiently and hardly.
Regarding to the activities and exercises into my computer subject, I can feel excitement  because I can already face the computer screen again to enhance my skills and abilities to use it. I feel so happy when we are posting in our blog our essays made by ourselves. Through the days, I'm continuing to explore the world of modernization. And sometimes, I can't believe it because I made it by myself. I learned new things that can help me in the near future. I learned on how to make my vocabularies in my essays in deeper words.
Sometimes problems and worries bothers me when I don't even know what to do sometimes. It takes me to have a deep breath when I am worrying. But these are not the reasons to make me down. I got to stand each time I stumbled.
I addressed those things by asking guide to my classmates. I asked the help of my teacher to solve it. I listen very well and carefully in every instructions they gave. And this served as my key to all the troubles blocking in my way.
Moving on, I will use all the teachings and learning's in my everyday life. It will served as my guide as I passes my way. All this things I learned in my computer subject will always remain in my heart.

Scientricity: Energizing Science Clubbers For Sustainable Energy

Energize means to give energy to. So it is hard to imagine how one could give energy to science clubbers since clubbers refers to people who are members of a club. Energizing these young people means giving them electric power. One would think that energizing them may mean electrocuting them.
But this is not so. Energizing these clubbers also means rousing them into an activity. In this particular topic therefore, we talk of how to inspire young people to engage in work or activity that may promote more energy.
We should apply this interpretation to the solving of the lack of electricity especially in fur-flung areas. There are several reasons for the scarcity of power in many places. This also includes urban centers where there are occasional brownouts.
The most practical way for us science clubbers to participate in the effort to increase sustainable energy is for us to tell our people to be sparing in the use of power. We can show ways of how to use electricity wisely. We should tell our friends no to waste energy.
For instance, we can tel our people not to indulge too much in televiewing. We call this overusing the TV set "telebabad". The practice uses too much of the small supply of power that the country has. We can also tell to put off light when it is not in use. When one gets out of the room, there is use of leaving the light on.
We should also use water sparingly. We mean water that is being generated by electric pump. Generating water also uses up lot of energy. There are many ways by which we can help economize our electric bills. It also means less brownouts and more business activities which translates to more economic gains.
So by all means, let's energize science clubbers for a better of helping our government conserve precious electric power.
