Wikang Filipino For Filipino Nation

The Philippines is a country of millions of different ethnic groups and divergent culture and racial character and racial heritages. They used different ethnic languages. The most prominent of these are Tagalog, Ilocano, Visaya, Bicolano, Pampango and several others. Because of this, it is very hard to generate cooperation and understanding among the Filipino's.
Our linguistic and cultural experts decide to establish a common language for the whole Filipino nation. After a long study, research and consultations they came with a common language of the whole Filipino nation. This is how Tagalog adopted as a common language. Instead of calling it Tagalog, they call this common language for Filipino's.
It is important that the Filipinos have a common language. Its is believed and has been proven that having a common identity, a common means of communication. This ultimately result in cooperation, understanding and unity among the different ethnic groups. It is because this has given them a common identity and a unified purpose.
Tagalog was chosen as a Filipino language because it is spoken by most Filipino's . It is the language mostly used in all media, like the T.V, radio, newspaper, etc.
To perpetuate the use of Filipino in all Philippine Islands, the country makes Filipino a compulsory subject in school curricula. This is only we have Wikang Filipino which is celebrated every year as Linggo ng Wika.
We have that adopting a Wikang Filipino will promote unity, understanding, oneness and patriotism in and among all Filipino's.
